Seventh Grade Math

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF ALL THE OBJECTIVES FOR SEVENTH GRADE.

M7.1 Students will classify numbers as whole, integers, or rational numbers.

M7.2 Students will apply the order of operations to real life integer problems.

M7.3 Students will solve one step equations with integers, check on reasonableness, and then relate these problems to real life situations.

M7.4  Students will measure reflex angles and construct segments in order to create designated geometric shapes (angles, angle and segment bisectors, parallel and perpendicular lines, congruent angles and segments, and triangles).

M7.5 Students will identify and classify two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes in order to describe and compare them to objects in the real world.

M7.6 Students will apply congruency, similarity, and Pythagorean theorem to compute unknown measurements in a triangle.

M7.7 Students apply formulas for perimeter, area, and circumference to solve problems in real life applications.

M7.8 Students will calculate surface area and volume with the given formula and apply to real life situations.

M7.9 Students will conduct experiments using probability to compare the actual results of a simulation to the theoretical probability.

M7.10 Students will identify and apply measures of central tendency to real life situations.
