About Vocal Music

What goes on in Vocal Music:
1.Through rehearsal and performance we learn about other times, places, and cultures.
2. We study the many componants of music theory such as tempo, rhythm, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture, form, and style.
3. We strive for musical excellence by learning vocal technique such as breath control and diction.
4. We learn about expression through analizing and portraying the emotional response of various musical texts.
5. Last, we learn about life through our devotion to work together to acheive excellence.
