Read Across America Celebration
St. Mary's Grade School celebrated Read Across America on Monday, March 3rd with fun activities in the gym. We began with the March of Hats. Each student decorated a hat with the illustrations of their favorite story book character. Then the students were divided into two groups and took part in a Quiz Game, answering questions about stories they read in their classrooms. Finally, the students enjoyed cupcakes and milk as they were paired to read stories with one another. A good time was had by all! Hats off to READING!
