Dress Code Policy
Girls:
Jumpers: These can be purchased from the Dennis Uniform Company in Omaha. Forms for ordering are available in the office during the school year. The girls usually wear shorts underneath their jumpers. These shorts should not hang down below the jumper. During the winter months, navy pants may be worn under the jumper. No jeans or sweatpants are allowed.
Shirts: A white or cardinal red collared polo shirt with either short or long sleeves. If a short-sleeve t-shirt is worn under the shirt it must be plain white only. Long-sleeved shirts cannot be worn under the short-sleeved uniform shirts. Shirts must be tucked in when o school property, regardless if school is in session.
Slacks: Girls also have the option to wear solid navy blue uniform slacks or walking shorts with a white or cardinal red collared polo shirt in place of the uniform jumper. Shorts must be mid-thigh or longer in length. Shorts are not allowed from November 1 through March 31. Slacks may be corduroy, but not demin. Slacks/shorts must not be faded and must be of appropriate size. The slacks/shorts may be purchased from the Dennis Uniform Company, J.C. Penny Uniform Catalog, or Target Stores uniform section only.
Boys:

Boys and Girls:

Belts are required for 6th graders.

Solid red or navy blue sweaters may be worn.

St. Mary's Elementary School sweatshirts may be purchased from Denise Litz. These are gray with blue lettering and are a necessity in the winter months.

Tennis shoes are preferred for school. Socks should be worn at all times. Shoes with open backs are not allowed.
