Congratulations to the golf team for having its best score of the year by finishing 5th at conference golf yesterday.  Scott Dennis, Aaron Rice, and Tanner Knutson all had personal best tournament scores.

Congratulations to the girls track team on their efforts at the district track meet yesterday.  Personal records and season best include:  Paige Kallhoff in both the shot & discus, Nikkayla Christiansen and Breigh Urbanec in the 800, Katie Wright in the 200, Maddie Jonseth in the 200 & 400, 400 meter relay of Nikkayla Christiansen, Anne Taylor, Deanna Tyma and Breigh Urbanec, Alex Schindler in the 100 hurdles, and Chandra Mosel in the 1600.  Congratulations to Maddie Jonseth on earning district medals in the 100, 200, and long jump.

Congratulations to the following boys on qualifying for next weeks state track meet in Omaha:  Mark Funk - triple jump (42' 9 3/4") which ties 5th fastest time in school history; Dillon Delaney - high jump (5'11") ; the 4x100 relay team of Michael Sorensen, Mark Funk, Brandon Timm, Riley Frasch (45.7) which ties 6th fastest time in school history; Brandon Timm - 300 IM Hurdles, ties 5th fastest time in school history.  Others who achieved personal bests were Alex Blecher - shot put, Derek Delaney - shot put, Anthony Garcia - long jump & tied in 100 meter dash,  Trevor Schrader - long jump,  Levi Pofahl - 3200 meter run (8th fastest time in school history), Derek Snodgrass - 300 IM Hurdles, 4x400 relay of Trevor Schrader, Riley Frasch, Dillon Delaney, Mark Funk.

Cross Country meeting next Wednesday in Coach Eickholt's room for anyone in grades 7-11 interested in running cross country next fall.

Grade 7-11 band members,  graduation is Saturday.  Be here at 1:30 and dress up. 

SALAD BAR WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS YEAR.

Softball practice for girls 16 & under  will be today at 4:00.  If anyone else is still interested in playing, please contact Jack Green.

Jr. High art students should stop in the art room and pick up their art work.

Any boys, grades 7-11, who are planning to go to the Norfolk football camp in July need to see Mr. Underwood by today.

Students wanting end-of-year report cards mailed home, please bring a stamped, self addressed envelope to the office.

2008-09 dance team members, I told you the wrong amount for a total.  You need to pay $159 in all.  If you paid your $25 deposit, you need to pay the balance of $134.  Please have this paid before May 15 check-out.  Sorry about the mix-up!           Ms. Meyer

The Chamber of Commerce & Overland Rehab  is sponsoring a Pitch-Hit & Run competition on Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 AM in Riverside Park.  Youngsters, age 7-14,  are eligible to participate.  Entry forms can be  picked up the high school office.

Students taking the ACT in June must register by today.  See Mr. Jessen for a registration packet.

Summer conditioning has been changed from Heartland Physical Therapy to Overland Rehab.  Overland will provide this service 3 days a week instead of 2 day a week and for $30 instead of $75.  Overland will also do pre & post test agility for improvement.  Please stop in the office for a new form.  Forms need to be returned to the school before May 15.      Mr. Loofe
