 Welcome Students and Parents!
Mrs. Moyer's Mission Statement:
The English Language Learner (ESL) student reads, writes, speaks, and listens effectively. He uses his prior knowledge to acquire understanding of the culture of the Madison community and to adapt successfully to his new school and community environment while he learns English. He continues to maintain his cultural identity and to improve his first language skills.
IDEA testing indicates his beginning levels of English fluency. Then he works on English language acquisiton activities to reach his exit goal of Oral Fluency and Reading and Writing Competency.

Monday: Introduce new work and practice pronunciation
Tuesday: Practice writing 5 times and discuss vocabulary
Wednesday: Write sentences with new
vocabulary words
