About Mrs. Hoobler

WELCOME TO MY WORLD!
I am the mathematics teacher on Team 2 at Norfolk Middle School. I teach Math 7and Pre-algebra.
I grew up in New York State near Cooperstown where the Baseball Hall of Fame is located. I am looking forward to a return visit this summer. I received my Bachelors degree from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Upon moving to Nebraska I began teaching fourth grade at Westside Elementary School in Norfolk where I met my husband, Dennis. At the time, we were unable to teach in the same building so I was transferred to Bel Air School where I taught fifth grade.
When we started to raise our family, I substituted and then began teaching half-time at Sacred Heart in Norfolk. Then I had a chance to move to Norfolk Junior High and subsequently to the Middle School.
I have continued my education earning a Masters degree from Wayne State and a middle school, mathematics endorsement from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I have additional hours from UNL, Chadron State, and the University of New York at Oneonta.
