Classroom Procedures and Policies

Procedures:

1.  Head Paper Properly

     *First and last name

     *Class

     *Date

     *Assignment

2.  Drills

     *Refer to student's sheet

3.  Sign Out Sheet

     *Name

     *Date

     *Time leaving

     *Destination

     *Time returned

4.  Lab

     *Use equipment correctly and respectfully.

     *Avoid horseplay.

     *If you partake in horseplay, you lose your privilege

      to complete the lab. This will result in a reduction

      of points on the final grade.

     *Please see me after school so we can further

      discuss the situation.

Policies:

5.  BE PREPARED

     *Pencils must be sharpened before class starts.

     *All your supplies and homefun must be in the room

      with you.

     *You will not be allowed to go to your locker.

     *During class, the only subject to be worked on is

       SCIENCE.         

               *Any school work will be confiscated and not

                returned.

               *Any books will be confiscated and returned

                at the end of class per student request. 

6.  HOMEFUN ON TIME

     *If your homefun is late, work is due the same day

      or see me.

     *Grade will be affected, refer to student handbook.

7.  HOMEFUN LEGIBLE

     *If I cannot read your work, you will redo it.

     *The work is late and follows the steps in number

       six.

8.  USE OF EQUIPMENT

     *All equipment, including cushions, will be treated

      with respect.

     *Any mistreatment or vandalism will result in the

      loss of privileges.

     *Anything broken or destroyed will be paid for by

      the student responsible.

9.  WHITE SLIPS FOR WHEN YOU ARE ABSENT

     *When you are absent, it is your responsibility to

      get your white slip.

     *Bring the white slip to me to find out what you

      missed while you were gone.

     *I will fill the slips out during AR, study hall(s), or

      after school. 

10.  EXTRA HELP BUSINESS HOURS

     *Please feel free to come in for extra help between

      3:10 and 4:00 P.M.

     *Take a number and wait your turn patiently and

      quietly.

     *If you have a ride waiting for you, tell me when

       you take your number.    

     *I am not responsible for you missing your ride if

       you do not communicate with me.
