We are using Drops in the Bucket to review Math concepts.
This week---
We will focus on shapes--square, circle, triangle, rectangle, oval, and rhombus.
We will focus on counting to 100 by 1's.
ACTIVITIES
Practice addition facts to 10 by using flashcards.
Practice subtraction facts to 10 by using flashcards.
Practice saying the days of the week.
Practice counting to 100 by 1's, 5's, and 10's.
Practice counting to 30 by twos.
Practice counting money to 99 cents.
RHYMES FOR MAKING NUMBERS 1-9
Straight down from the sun--that's the way to make a 1.
Around and back like a railroad track-2-2-2-2.
Around a tree and around a tree--that's the way to make a 3.
Come down and back and down once more--that's the way to make a 4.
Come down and around--put a flag on top annd see what you've found. 5
Old Mr. 6 rolls a hoop, come right down and make a loop.
Across the sky and down, that's the way to make a 7.
Make an s but do not wait-come right back and make an 8.
Make a circle, then a line-that's the way to make a 9.
