2007 Digies Competition
The 5-8 technology class made an IMovie about the history of the school and town. They used Macbooks to produce the IMovie. After finishing their movie,the class submitted it to the Digies Technology contest. They sent the movie in and about three weeks later, their teacher told them they were finalists. On April 21, the students traveled to Lincoln from O'Neill to the awards ceremony on the UNL campus. Before they went to the awards ceremony, the 5-8 graders went to the Westfield Mall. After eating and shopping at the mall, some of them played laser tag while the others continued to shop. Around seven in the evening we arrived at the UNL campus. At the ceremony the students all received a medal for entering and becoming a finalists. When came time to see who won the 7-12 movie group. The 5-8 graders did not win, but they all had a lot of fun producing the movie.
