Retention and Promotion Policy |

Each student in grades K-8 is expected to work
up to his/her potential in all school subjects in order to receive the
highest grades possible. Promotion or retention shall be
determined at the end of each school year for each student in all
grades. If retention is recommended, it shall be thoroughly
discussed by: 1) parents; 2) teachers; and 3) the Administrator
of Schools. Achievement, maturity, social adjustment, age, and
size of child, and any other pertinent factors will be considered in
the best interests of the child. The final decision relative to
retention or promotion for each child will be delegated to the
administrator by the board.
