Because of their damaging effects on the
atmosphere of the school; candy, gum, and toys of any nature may not be
brought into the school building unless authorized by the
administrator. If a teacher discovers such articles on a pupil's
person, in a pupil's locker, or in a pupil's desk, he is to confiscate
them to be returned upon written parental request. Detention may
be assigned for noncomplaiance with this policy.
