Arrival and Departure Times |

The school day is
from 8:15 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. For safety reasons, all students and
visitors need to use the front doors of the schools upon
entering. The other outside doors will be locked during the
school day. All visitors must report to the office.
Students should generally plan to arrive at school no more than ten
minutes before the first bell rings (First bell rings at 8:10
a.m.). Those participating in the breakfast program are asked to
arrive at the Junior High no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and no later than
8:00 a.m.
No students will be allowed in a classroom
until 8:10 a.m. unless given permission by the administrator or a
teacher. The school will arrange for supervision of students
before school beginning at 8:00 a.m. Parents are asked not to
bring or send children to school prior to this time unless
participating in the breakfast program. Exceptions for early
arrival may be made, but an ≥Early School Arrival≈ form must be
completed in advance for approval. When cold or other inclement
weather exists, the teacher(s) responsible for supervision will make
the decision to either remain outside or go directly to the gym.
In this case, students will be allowed to enter the building and go
directly to their respective gyms.
Unless retained by a teacher for academic or
disciplinary reasons or involved in a school-sponsored activity, all
students are to leave the building promptly after dismissal and leave
the school's grounds by no later than 3:15 p.m. Please make
arrangements to pick up your child(ren) immediately after school.
Students walking or riding bikes to school must leave the school
grounds after dismissal. Pupils participating in athletics or
other post-school activities must report immediately to the assigned
teacher sponsor.
