Challenge Program Coordinator
Hello,
My name is Linda Engel, Challenge Program Coordinator for the Norfolk Public Schools District. I have been employed by the Norfolk Public Schools since 1989. I have my Master's degree in gifted education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I serve on the Nebraska Association for the Gifted Board of Directors and on the advisory committee for the High Ability Learners for the State of Nebraska. I am also the Director for the Nebraska Scholars' Academy held at Hastings College and I teach classes for Doane College.
I first became involved with gifted education because I have three very differently gifted children. I deem gifted education as an essential element of the educational process for those students who are identified as gifted.
