The E-Z Decorator Design and Decorating System teaches illustrating, scale, perspective and history. It consists of 4,000 hand-drawn illustrations of architecture, window coverings, residential furniture, baths, and accessories. All drawings are in 1/4" scale, with one-point perspective, and are printed on reusable static-cling decals. The students press and peel decals on to special grid boards, allowing professional results quickly. This is especially convenient for those schools without access to computer labs and design software.
2003-04 Each of the 17 participating schools was invited to select $1200 of teaching aides for their nutrition and consumer education classes. Some examples of items purchased were Cooken Pro 3.0 (software on cookery techniques), Kitchen Calc Pro (calculate recipe increases), Power Points on Meal Planning, Food Safety, Kitchen Safety; Fat, Sugar, Salt, Lipids teaching models, Body fat analyzer, skinfold calipers; muscle/fat replicas, heart block models, infant nutrition kits, food pyramid 3-d model and food replicas. At least 20 studies published between 1997 and 2006 have observed positive changes in teen≠s attitudes toward early parenthood when curricula includes infant simulators.
