LESSON PLANS For October 20, 2008

Period 2 and 3 ---Trigonometry/Precalculus
For Week of October 20, 2008

Monday--  Objective-- Correct and finish going over questions on page 304
Objective 2--Students will learn how to solve triangles using the law of sines.
Section 5-6   exercises introduced....

Tuesday:  Continue Law os sines---ambiguous cases Is there a triangle or not???   Objective  students will recognize if there is a triangle or not. 


Wednesday=--- Quiz over sections 5-1 to 5 -5 

Thursday---Go over quiz as needed--- Objective --Student will learn a second way to solve non-right triangles using law of cosines...

Friday---Take questions over chapter 5 and all sections.   Use the




Algebra I Period 6 (12:57 - 1:37)
For Week of October 20, 2008.

Students will learn to do complex and two inequalities for the
Tuesday's Assignments:  Review errors from Practice Test on Monday...  Review as time permist

Major Test # 2

Thursday Assignments
Hand back tests-- Begin objective on inequalities. 

Friday's Assignment: Inequalities to solve and graph..







Algebra IA 5 Period (12:00 - 12:47) and Period 7 (1:50 - 2:27)
for week of October 20, 2008
Monday's Assignments:  Practice tests for first assessment.  

Tuesday... Go over errors one more time... Do problems as assigned to raise comprehension of skills and problem solving techniques.

Wednesday's Assignments ... Do second pre-test to assessment


Thursday Assignments...Check and provide feedback to students on errors.  Assigned problems as needed

Friday's Assignment:  Assessment 1---Major Tests..
