Kindergarten Math Curriculum
1. Students will identify, count, write and compare number sets 1-20 with manipulatives.
2. Students will identify equal parts and halves of a region or group.
3. Students will estimate and compute addition and subtraction problems 0-10 with manipulatives.
4. Students will apply standard and non-standard units of measurement to compare and order objects according to attributes of length, volume, weight, time.
5. Students will identify the value of a penny, nickel, and dime with manipulatives.
6. Students will identify, construct, and compare attributes of shapes: circle, square, triangle, and rectangle with manipulatives.
7. Students will identify, describe, and interpret relative positions: over/under, top/bottom, in/out, up/down.
8. Students will represent and interpret information about themselves and their surroundings using concrete objects, tally marks and pictures with or without technology.
9. Students will classify, describe, extend, and create pattern sequences (abab, abc, abbabb) with manipulatives.
