Perhaps I should update my page since it was extremely ancient - somewhat like myself. The 2006-2007 school year will soon be over. Time does seem to fly when you're having fun, and I have fun every day.
The 8th language arts students are finally going to begin reading The Outsiders on Monday, April 16. They are hoping for a 60s car show to go along with this book. Perhaps the most favorite part of this class (spelling tests) will be ancient history soon.
8th American History classes are getting into the early 1900s. They learned about labor unions and why strikes may not be the best way to settle disputes.
7th Eastern Hemisphere are entering the realm of the former U.S.S.R. They are finding many dates and names to remember. The students are also aware that socialism and communism may not be the best government and economic systems.
