Services for Visually Impaired Students
Educational Service Unit #8 is proud to offer direct services to student with vision impairments.
Coni Kersch is our teacher of the visually impaired. She serves in this
capacity .5 FTE. She also continues to work in the Early Childhood
department.
Coni provides direct instruction to some students and consultative
services to others as determined by their IEP team. She does functional
vision assessments and assists teachers in making accommodations and
modifications for students with visual impairments.
Vision Instruction is available to children Birth to 21 who are visually impaired. Please contact Ruth with any new referrals.
