About Mr. Martin
 Personal
I was born and raised in a large family in northeastern Nebraska. In 1996, I married my lovely wife, Brenda. We have no children yet, but find companionship with a loyal black lab named Katie and some ornery cats. We like to garden, travel, ski, watch the Huskers play, and socialize with friends. Education
I graduated from UNL in 1992 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in English. In 1994, I earned a teaching certificate from Wayne State College with a field endorsement in Scoial Sciences. I taught and coached at Beemer High School from 1995-2000. In 2000, I earned a Master's degree in Secondary Administration from Wayne State College, and I have been the high school principal at Elgin Public School ever since. I am currently working towards a, Educational Specialist Degree, also through Wayne State.
Hobbies
I enjoy hunting, fishing, coaching, playing basketball, golf, and reading in my spare time. If I ever become techonologically able, I could include some pictures of my wife, dog, etc. on this web page!
